Description
Your family’s daily bread can do more than fill a stomach.
Mandua — finger millet — has fed mountain communities in Uttarakhand for centuries. It requires almost no water to grow, thrives without chemicals, and gives back to the soil rather than depleting it. Our Mandua is sourced directly from smallholder farmers and stone-ground to retain its protective husk and all its natural goodness. The result is a flour that’s genuinely nutritious — not just labelled that way.
Why You’ll Love It
- Naturally gluten-free — suitable for sensitive stomachs
- Rich in calcium — supports bone health naturally
- High iron and fibre content — nourishing and filling
- Stone-ground to preserve nutrients and the husk
- Ideal for growing children and health-conscious adults
Pure. Natural. Trustworthy.
- No chemicals. No artificial fortification. Just millet.
- Sourced directly from Himalayan smallholder farmers
- Stone-ground — no heat damage to nutrients
How to Use
Mix with warm water to make a smooth dough for rotis. Add to pancake batter or porridge for a nutritious breakfast. Blend with wheat flour for everyday chapatis. Works beautifully in traditional dishes like Mandua ki Roti served with ghee and jaggery.

I tried a few ragi flours before, but Fyonli’s Mandua Flour honestly feels different. The texture is slightly coarse (in a good way), just like you’d expect from proper stone-ground flour, and it gives a very homely vibe when you cook with it.
I made rotis, and the taste was really nice—simple, earthy, and super satisfying. It actually reminded me of the kind of food you get in the hills. A lot of packaged ragi flours taste kind of flat, but this one has a natural richness to it. Even the color looks more real and less processed.
What I liked most is how filling it is. You don’t feel heavy after eating, but it keeps you full for a good amount of time. I’ve also been mixing it with wheat flour sometimes, and it works really well.
Overall, it just feels like a clean, good-quality product—nothing fancy, just the way it should be. Definitely something I’ll keep using.
