What is shilajit?
Shilajit is a dark, sticky resin that seeps from rock formations high in the Himalayas. In Ayurveda it is classed as a Rasayana and has been taken traditionally across the Himalayan region for centuries. Fyonli sells Pure Himalayan Shilajit as raw resin from rock formations above 3,000 m, with nothing added. 20 g.
Why resin rather than capsules?
Resin is the least processed form. Powders and capsules are dried and ground further and may contain fillers or anti-caking agents, which makes it harder to know what you are taking.
How is shilajit taken?
Traditionally, a pea-sized amount (about 300–500 mg) is dissolved in warm water or milk once a day. Start with less and follow the guidance on the product page.
Who should avoid shilajit?
Check with a doctor first if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition or take regular medication. Shilajit is a traditional food supplement, not a medicine.
How should shilajit resin be stored?
Keep the jar tightly closed in a cool, dry place and use a dry spoon. Resin can harden in cold weather and soften in heat; both are normal.
